Welcome to the Winton School District website! In this website you will find valuable information regarding our district. It is part of our ongoing effort to keep the members of our school community informed of what is going on at our schools.

This website is an addition to our district calendar which is sent home with students the first week of school. As you browse through the site you will find some of the following information: policies, registration information, attendance, rules and expectations, lunch menus, different departments in our school district, forms that can be printed and much, much more. Please take a moment to explore what is inside.

We hope that you find this an exciting way to keep you informed of what is happening at our schools. Your comments and suggestions to make our website even better are always welcome. Feel free to contact us. Together we can make a difference.

Message from the Superintendent:
The Winton School District believes that success in schools goes beyond test scores, and thatís why we work closely with our staff and parents to provide an environment that is centered on the individual needs of every student. Strong schools and strong community go hand in hand. In the WSD, we all share a common goal of high quality education, efficient operations and strong community. We look forward to this journey together as we continually seek to prepare our students to be the successful leaders of tomorrow. We are blessed to work for a district that promotes quality instruction and intervention to our students. Providing support for those who desperately need help to achieve academic success is vital to the school district and community. We have steadily improved student performance in the pre-tk-8th grade program by supporting highly skilled teachers teaching the common core standards while enriching our schools with media centers, music, the arts, and athletics. ONE TEAM ONE WINTON

Randall W. Heller
Superintendent
